Kidsproof museum

Hooray, just like last year, the National Hiding Museum has once again been found to be ‘kid-proof’!

What does that mean? By visiting museums and then completing an inspection, the Museum Inspectors – i.e. museum visitors up to the age of 12 with an account on museumkids.nl – determine which museums are suitable for children.

Last year, countless children visited and inspected our museum again. Those ‘museum inspectors’ rated the National Hiding Museum with a score of 9.47. We are very proud!

One of the children gives the following review: “It is a very interesting museum. You enter spaces that you normally only see on screen and not in real life. You can touch everything, push it aside. That was cool. The scavenger hunt was fun.”

The initiator of this election is the Museums Association, to which 513 museums are affiliated. This year, there are 55 museums with the Kidsproof designation.

We are pleased that the museum is appreciated. This is an incentive for us to continue actively and to remain kid-proof. We thank all inspectors for their vote!
