Freedom seems so self-evident; we often take it for granted.
\nIn Ode to Freedom, cabaret artist and writer Irene van der Aart and keyboardist\/arranger Dennis Weelink give meaning to freedom. The duo wrote and composed this beautiful freedom song in the lead-up to the celebration of 80 years of freedom in 2025. <\/p>\n

Would you like to listen to the freedom song (music and singing)? Ode to Freedom can be listened to on Spotify<\/a>, Apple Music<\/a> and YouTube<\/a>, among others. <\/p>\n

Fanfare and concert bands<\/strong> and choirs <\/strong>can download the lyrics and music free of charge and royalty-free.
\n<\/strong>They can add the freedom song to their repertoire. Please note that it is not necessary to perform all verses. Feel free to make a selection that best suits your musical or vocal group.
\nHow wonderful would it be to perform an Ode to Freedom during this particular year? It allows us to reflect on the fact that freedom is not self-evident. We must cherish freedom. <\/p>\n
