Geschichtsort Villa ten Hompel<\/a>
\n<\/strong>Villa ten Hompel was originally a villa built by the wealthy Rudolf ten Hompel. During the Second World War, the villa served as the headquarters for the regional uniformed police of military unit VI. As such, it became a coordination point from which officials and armed police units committed crimes in the service of National Socialism. In the post-war period, between 1954 and 1968, the villa housed the regional department for restitution to the victims of the Nazi regime. <\/em>

Gedenkst\u00e4tte Augustaschacht e.V.<\/strong><\/a>
\nThe Gedenkst\u00e4tte Gestapokeller consists of prison cells formerly used by the Secret State Police (Gestapo) in Osnabr\u00fcck. Nearby is the Gedenkst\u00e4tte Augustaschacht, located on the site of the former Ohrbeck Labour Education Camp (AEL).
